Platinum Samples Joe Barresi Evil Drums Sdx For Mac Downloadįrom the folks over at Platinum Samples, comes a new twist on a great product.I am talking about Platinum Samples Joe Barresi Evil Drums SDX for Superior Drummer 2.0 Sample Collection. The “SDX” signifies that it now works with Superior Drummer, within Pro Tools, as an RTAS plug in. The SDX Version of EVIL DRUMS is less painful and lands on 35 GB.

Platinum Samples Joe Barresi Evil Drums Sdx For Mac Download.I'm trying to use samples to crisp it up a bit, add some aggression, what I'm used to from drums. I think SD3 is a little bit on the soft side, sound wise, but in the headphones, just jamming out, it's so good.
Made a nice difference to hear the sounds I'm used to playing. I just layered in my own personal kick and snare samples on the last track I did tonight. The snare is the weak point on this one, feels like. Wouldn't be too expensive to do those things. Or I may "frankenstein" this kit by adding a better 3 zone snare and a Yamaha DTX502 drum brain. I may try to save up for a Roland TD-17KVX, not sure. So I just run it straight into Cubase and do Superior Drummer. But it will still put out MIDI, thank god. The brain on mine is dead, it's brain dead. The Alesis Micro Mesh is a modern thing that looks similar but probably better. Think someone in my family grabbed them somewhere, maybe a thrift store. I have some shitty Simmons SDS 5K drums from Guitar Center.
I've got a few loose ends to tie up before the room is ready to be photographed, but I'm pretty sure it will happen in the next day or two.
